Extraordinarily experienced pedagogue and an expert in the Vaganova technique, training methods, and performance style. She received her training in Russia, at the State Ballet School in Khabarovsk, and went on to dance professionally in St. Petersburg and Khabarovsk. She continued her studies of classical ballet at the University of Humanitarian Arts in St. Petersburg, where she earned a master’s degree in ballet education, performance, choreography, character, and historical dance. She started her teaching career in 1998 at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Seoul, Korea, and was invited to teach master classes throughout Korea. Since moving to San Diego in 2008 she taught at the San Diego Academy of Ballet and the California Ballet Program. She founded the Mironova Classical Ballet Academy in 2021.

Prepared and danced many solo roles and leading roles in ballets such as: «Le Corsaire", "Giselle", "Love for Love", "Gayane", "Anuta," "Walpurgis Night", "Chipolino", Ivan Susanin - mazurka, "Prince Igor - Polovtsian Dances. In Yuri Grigorovich's ballets:" Spartacus, "Ivan the Terrible”, "Golden Age ", " Romeo and Juliet ". Concert numbers: Andrew variation from the ballet "Taras Bulba », pas de deux «Diana and Actaeon », pas de deux «Flame of Paris », pas de deux «Le Corsaire.
Actively participated in the touring Bolshoi. Worked on a scenic site of more than 50 countries, including Covent Garden, Grand Opera, La Scala, and Cologne, in theaters of Australia, Brazil, New Zealand, China, Singapore, Indonesia, and others. Upon the termination of a creative career as a soloist in the ballet troupe of the Bolshoi Theatre in 2002, began teaching. Courtney is a professional dancer, choreographer, circus artist, and movement instructor. Originally based out of New York City, Courtney holds a BFA in dance from Fordham University and The Ailey School and has also trained at Joffrey Ballet, Martha Graham, Peridance, STEPS, and Broadway Dance Center. She has performed full–time for over a decade in shows/ companies including Queen of the Night, Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris, Company XIV, Quixotic Fusion, Malashock Dance Company, Buglisi Dance Theater, Kazuko Hirabayashi Dance Theater, Pascal Rioult, STREB Extreme Action, Diavolo, Martha Graham, and Alvin Ailey. She has also performed the works of Robert Battle, Milton Myers, Max Luna, Jane Comfort, and Lara Wilson.
Courtney is a world champion in competitive wheel gymnastics for Team USA. She is currently the director of Cyr Wheel, dance instructor, and choreographer at Malashock Dance School. She is a certified instructor of cyr wheel, GYROKINESIS ®, GYROTONIC ®, Lester Horton Technique, Ballet, Jazz, Modern (Graham and Horton), Dance Partnering, Dance Composition, Conditioning, and Flexibility. She is a guest instructor and choreographer for Cyr Wheel at Circus Juventas and Idyllwild Arts Academy.
Courtney’s choreographic productions have been performed at Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival, San Diego Circus Center, Circus Juventas, Malashock, BEAT BROOKLYN, Galapagos Arts Space, Dixon Place, STREB (funded by NY Arts Council), Carrboro Arts Center in North Carolina, California State University of Long Beach, Cornish College of the Arts, and The Ailey School. Her nominations, awards, and affiliations include Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival, The Rolex Mentor Protege Arts Initiative, Gold medal pianist of Carnegie Hall, scholarships to schools such as American Ballet Theater, Kirov Ballet, Alvin Ailey, Studio Maestro, Joffrey Ballet, STREB Extreme Action, Diavolo Dance Theater, Buglisi Dance Theater, Pascal Rioult Dance Theater, contest winner of the Dance Magazine video competition, recipient of the STREB Emerging Artist Commission, recipient of the Bindlestiff First of May Award 2013, resident artist at Spaceworks NYC and Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica, California.
Sam Tribble is an accomplished Acrobatic instructor, Cyr performer, coach and equipment craftsman, who has played a pivotal role in making the Cyr wheel available to people worldwide. He is a former collegiate All American gymnast and has been inducted into Sacramento's Hall Of Fame for outstanding athletes. Sam was the US Worlds Team coa

Sam was the US Worlds Team coach for 2013 and 2015 for the sport of Cyr Wheel, and has created the Progressive Axis Training (PAT)tm technique for teaching skill progression for the art of Cyr Wheel. He is certified through the IRV as a technical judge and has served on the board of USA Wheel Gymnastics as a technical advisor. Sam's passion and humility make him an exceptional coach, and his dedication to teaching has attracted students from all over the world, including Russia, Ireland, Malaysia, New Zealand, France, Switzerland, South Korea, and throughout the US. He also believes in Sports Mental Training and is a certified hypnotherapist. Sam continues to travel internationally to perform Acro (Adagio) and the art of Cyr Wheel, and to host workshops and intensives across the country. His contributions to the Cyr wheel community have been invaluable, and he is widely regarded as one of the most influential coaches and equipment craftsmen in the United States.

Mironova Classical Ballet Academy is a Russian Ballet Academy that offers authentic Vaganova method ballet of classes for all ages, all levels. Our teachers are certified by the Vaganova Academy of St. Petersburg.
We offer the Vaganova Method Youth Classical Ballet Program starting at 6 years old all the way to high school age. For the Intermediate /Advanced Level, we offer point work, variation, contemporary dance, and stretching classes.
We also have ballet classes for adults of all levels and ages.
Yes, we offer authentic Vaganova ballet classes for all ages, levels, and adult experiences.
We introduce point work at Intermediate Level, only if the students are ready for it.
Yes, we have uniforms for each level, ballet pink tights, and pink canvas ballet shoes (split sole) for all Levels. There is no dress code for adult ballet classes.
Our preferred payment method is Zelle,
but if you are not comfortable with it we will take chah or cash as well.
Tuition can be paid by the month or 5 months in the advanced program.
